Offered for beginner surfers who want a supportive exploration alongside their surf journey. Sessions will be done for small groups at a local beach and are condition dependent. Sessions will include the following:
Somatic grounding skills
Increasing body/mind connection
Invitation to increase play & joy
Opportunities for empowerment
Attunement to individual & group nervous system needs
Community building & connection

Becca has experience facilitating in a variety of wilderness settings since 2012, with participants of all ages. She has co-facilitated on Women's Surf Therapy retreats in Costa Rica, and is participating in ongoing training with Groundswell Community Project. Becca has an insatiable and contagious love for moving her body in the ocean.
Becca will be joined by co-facilitator(s) who will help support emotional and physical safety.

We need to remember that well-being is not defined by a nervous system that is always in regulation. A nervous system that brings qualities of well-being still dysregulates, but rather than remaining stuck in a survival response, it finds its way back to regulation through flexibility and resilience.
