Becca is a lover of the natural world and spends most of her free time in the ocean or mountains of Santa Barbara, CA.
She completed her Bachelor's degree at Wheaton College with a major in Sociology, and her Master's in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She spent her first three years in the mental health world guiding at a Wilderness Therapy residential program for youth and young adults in the backcountry of Utah and Colorado. There, she learned how to truly be present with herself and others. She carried these lessons throughout her training as a therapist in diverse employment settings, and still yearns to sit under a tree in the mud and rain with folks.
She has been working in a Private Practice setting since 2022, locally in Santa Barbara, California. Alongside her therapy career, she has been mentoring youth of all ages at Wilderness Youth Project since 2018.
